Absurdistan
The condition of the economy and the urgent need for a tax reform has been on the public agenda for years. The atmosphere at the second Business Dinner was quite relaxed as both presenters, minister Gráf and Péter Futó, chairman of MGYOSZ, are entrepreneurs in private, like their audience was. I found a remark by Péter Futó to be rather weird. He said that MGYOSZ is preparing a proposal for a tax reform, but not as a contractor working for the government. How is this? When I am sick, I go to the doctor, tell him my symptoms, set up a diagnosis and suggest a therapy as well? It might sound a bit absurd, but not here, in Absurdistan.
