The new Unicum Live Session episode was created by the meeting of two striking creative worlds: the indispensable figure of the Hungarian music scene, Co Lee, and one of the most characteristic young directors of contemporary Hungarian cinema, Izabella Mazzag, are working together for the first time on the Zwack music scene. The meeting of fresh creative energies has created a fascinating atmosphere in Unicum’s renewed light music series, where music, unique location and storytelling come to life, and the real main role belongs to talent.

As new-generation creators with a distinctive style, both Co Lee, aka Kolos Halász, one of the most versatile figures of the Hungarian hip-hop scene, and Izabella Mazzag, a courageous artist also known as the director of We Are Azahriah, had an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Zwack, which is committed to creating fresh cultural values.

The collaboration, which consists of three tracks, transports us to a surreal world, an elegant, ornate space that preserves traces of the past, with Co Lee at the center, who invites us on a journey from night to dawn with her songs.

“We chose the songs that we like to play, following the creative story arc from the preparations to the after party. Citadel leads us up, Warriors Club spins us up, and Beautiful Morning lets us go,”

– said Co Lee.

“The Live Session is not just a spectacular mini-concert, but an inner journey where music, space and movement are intertwined. Our goal was for the three-movement story to visually follow an exciting emotional arc, along the bittersweet world of passing and the different phases of the party,” says Izabella Mazzag.

The production takes place in the historic Vasas Székház, whose grandiose spaces perfectly match the surreal concept. The meeting of cinematic precision and fantasy with musical intensity elevates the Live Session episode to an extraordinary audiovisual creation.

The clip starts with the narrative of preparation with the track Citadella, Co Lee appears on the scene stepping out of a fresco. The motif of looking into the mirror and the camera plays a central role in the captivating design language and visuals of the video. The second track, Harcosok klubja, presents the climax of the party, where a floor covered in colorful balloons, special camera movements and the visuals of the band organized around Co Lee build the space. The iconic Unicum cross appears here as a design element, on Co Lee’s red jacket. The closing scene of the video for “Gönösör reggel” evokes the magical melancholy of an after-party with confetti and broken glasses – the delicately crafted emotional arc is finally concluded by an elegant couple’s farewell waltz. The songs are connected by exciting analog work photo montages.
