From Saturday, all foods that contain harmful fatty acids are more expensive in Denmark. Before the introduction of the new tax Danes began to shopping in panic.

The Danish Parliament's health committee has decided to introduce a new tax, which means an average 10 percent increase and will bring 1.5 billion crowns to the state.
