REWE takes its promotional leaflets to WhatsApp in Germany
Germany’s REWE Group is moving forward with digitising its marketing activities by distributing promotional leaflets via WhatsApp. This step follows the retailer’s pledge to discontinue the use of printed leaflets by summer 2023. Thanks to this, more than 73,000 tonnes of paper, 70,000 tonnes of CO2, 1.1 million tonnes of water, and 380 million kWh of energy will be saved per year.
