Vodka is not for hand disinfection
An American handmade vodka company has been forced to respond to misleading information on the Internet that its product is suitable for hand disinfection in the fight against the new coronavirus – origo wrote after BBC.
With regard to the threat posed by the vuhan coronavirus, it is at least as much of a problem to filter out and ban out misleading information on social media as to fight the infection. A series of false, unconfirmed “information” has now featured video posts, messages in which self-proclaimed “connoisseurs” present homegrown hand disinfectants, for example, by mixing alcoholic beverages and aloe vera preparations.
