The Ministry of Rural Development would easen the situation of small food producers

Food safety has a prominent role in the National Rural Startegy – said Bognár Lajos, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM), at the Sub-Committee meeting of the  Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture and on Food Security. In order to easen the situation of small food producers, the fees and the relevant legislations should be also reviewed.

The MPs indicated: it is still necessary to maintain the strict controls, to preserve the well-established Hungarian food safety system. Bognár Lajos also told, that Hungary can export fruit and vegetables to Russia – albeit under strict conditions – writes szabadfold.hu.
