One of the prepacked carrots examined did not pass the Nébih’s test
Pre-packed carrots were tested in the latest Supermenta test by the National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih).
Ten out of the eleven samples met food safety standards, but in one case, unauthorized soil disinfectant residues were found by the experts – the agency told MTI on Tuesday. Therefore, the Nébih has initiated legal proceedings against the producer concerned. The producer can expect a plant protection fine. (MTI)
