The Draft of the National Port Development Master Plan Strategy aims to increase the share of water freight
“Our Danube” is a draft strategy for the National Port Development Master Plan, which aims, among other things, to increase the share of water freight transport to 10 percent from the current 3.3 percent – Sztilkovics Szávó managing director of the Mahart Hajózási Zrt announced.
The document was prepared by a consortium of Ex Ante Advisory Services and Mahart Passnave Ltd. 85 percent of the 1 million euros cost was funded by the European Union Network Financing Facility (CEF) and 15 percent by domestic sources. (MTI)
