They want to roast the perfect coffee in outer space
Anders Cavallini and Hatem Alkhafaji, two entrepreneurs want to use rocket technology to roast the coffee. They plan to launch their coffee roasting capsules next year to space.
The capsule uses the heat generated by the return to Earth’s atmosphere to roast coffee beans as they float in a pressurized container. In the tank, coffee beans are roasted everywhere and thus perfect coffee can be made – Anders Cavallini from San Diego and Hatim al-Kafadsi from Dubai wrote in the space research magazine Room. (MTI)
