For Coca-Cola, Christmas is not just a holiday, but the most important time of the year when the brand contributes the most to creating social experiences and intimate moments. According to a study conducted in more than 140 countries*, one in four adults worldwide feel lonely. For this reason, Coca-Cola tries to encourage its consumers to pay attention to kindness, giving, and caring for others in addition to giving gifts during this period.

“The world needs more Santa Clauses,” the beverage brand announced last year, and this year it is opening the holiday season worldwide with this slogan. On the occasion of Christmas, a series of exciting and attractive experiences await fans in Hungary courtesy of Coca-Cola, with which the brand contributes to the strengthening of human relations and mutual attention.

The iconic Coca-Cola truck is also rolling into Hungary this year. The tour started from London to create a festive atmosphere for consumers by crossing several countries. The Coca-Cola Truck will arrive in Budapest in December, the brand will share the details of the event with consumers by the end of November. Colorful programs await visitors here, who can also take part in the holiday preparations by volunteering, in which, among others, surprise guests from the co-organizer PFR Group will also participate. The purpose of the event is to ignite the flame of the holiday season and provide everyone with an opportunity to celebrate Christmas in an intimate community. The Budapest Bike Mafia will also play a prominent role in the event. For Coca-Cola, it is extremely important that the participants get to know the charity actions of the foundation and that consumers can also be involved in volunteering.

Coca-Cola Hungary offered BBM a HUF 10 million donation, from which they can implement several charity campaigns from November until Christmas. The amount will be used to distribute sandwich packages for the homeless, organize dinners for the needy, and collect donations in stores. Colleagues from Coca-Cola Hungary also participate in the activity as volunteers, and Wolt and Kifli also join the charity campaign. Thanks to the cooperation, attention is given to families struggling to make ends meet and to those who spend Christmas alone without relatives: for example, the homeless, people living in temporary homes and patients recovering alone in hospitals. When the Christmas truck arrives, consumers will also have the opportunity to join the brand’s charitable causes. The donation from the participants goes to the needy through the Budapest Bike Maffia, and in exchange for the donation, the donors receive a Santa hat, which reminds us that we can all be Santa Clauses through any small help.
