The world's most valuable brands
The Interbrand this year, also compiled a list of the world's most valuable brands. The composition of the top ten has not changed much, but consumers because of the economic crisis, penalized all the companies, with the withdrawal of confidence.
The Interbrand measuring the value of the brands by the performance of the companies on an annual basis for ten years now. During this period, it is the first time, that the value of the top 100 brands decreased. The first two places remained unchanged; the two most valuable brands are Coca-Cola and IBM. The top five finishers all lost value compared to last. Microsoft is the third with a 4 percent slowdown, General Electric is the fourth with a 10 percent minus. Nokia gained the fifth with a 3 percent decrease – reports Világgazdaság Online.
