The VHT welcomes the extension of the VAT cut for an another circle of animals
The Livestock and Meat Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board (VHT) welcomes the extension of the reduction of the value added tax (VAT), to a new range of animals – Menczel László, VHT’s secretary told MTI on Tuesday, after the Minister of Economic Affairs has announced that the 'intermediate' VAT of the cattle, sheeps, and goats will be reduced by 5 percent from next year.
The VHT’s secretary called it particularly good that the government continue to move forward on its path, and did not give up the VAT reduction on food products.
He indicated, however, that the interprofessional organization would like to continue to extend the VAR eductionto to the entire pig product line. So the consumers could feel the effect of the VAT reduction directly. (MTI)
