The competition authority punished L`Oreal to five million
The competition authority punished L`Oreal to five million HUF, because the company could not prove the reality what was said in advertisements of three products. However, the Authority concludes that the effectiveness of the products were not tested.
The Competition Authority found that in cases of the Vichy Liftactiv CxP, the Revitalift and the Cellu Metric Revitalift products, certain allegations are not substantiated by the results of the tests. For example, "the clinically proven results in 14 days" statement could evolve the impression in the customers, that the anticipated effects were measured with scientific instruments. This, however, were not sufficiently substantiated by the materials submitted by L`Oreal – reports hirszerzo.hu.
