“For SPAR perhaps the most important thing is what our customers think about us. This is why it is a great pleasure that our company’s initiatives have been awarded with several prestigious prizes recently, and our efforts are acknowledged not only from the professional side, but also from the customer side.
The number of quality Hungarian food products in the SPAR selection is increasing year after year. In the food category over 90% of our suppliers are Hungarian, with a growing share for products bearing the HUNGARIAN PRODUCT trademark.

The award was received by Krisztina Várkonyi, purchasing director of SPAR
As for SPAR’s private label products, there are nearly 4,200 of these are available in 2024 – under the umbrella of the company’s 40 own brands. With our Regional Treasures programme, we are helping small domestic producers to gain access to the market: we are really pleased that more than 500 products have already been added to the assortments of our stores”. //
