The revenue of Hungexpo became more-than-expected last year
The revenue of Hungexpo Zrt. in 2014 was 2.9 billion HUF less than the 3.05 billion HUF of the previous year, but 15 percent more than expected – Ganczer Gábor CEO said on Friday at press conference in Budapest.
The loss of revenue is due to the lack of OMÉK show in every even-numbered years. So the revenues in the even-numbered years are always worse than in the odd-numbered years – he added.
Seventy-one percent of the company's sales came from its own exhibitions last year, compared with the 64 percent of a year before. The rest of the revenue came from guests events and conferences.
last year 500 thousand people visited the Hungexpo, the two thousand exhibitors hired more than 100 thousand square meters of exhibition space – Ganczer Gábor added. (MTI)
