Much less than expected grapes were produced this year in Hungary and in several countries of Europe
The experts were mistaken, the crisis of overproduction of grapes did not take place. Less than expected grapes were produced in Hungary and in other European countries, so the export of wine also helps to draw off the domestic stocks accumulated in the last two years.
Harvesting at Varga Winery is over, with only 18.5 million pounds of grapes being processed this year, 14.5 million bottles are expected to be marketed last year, and export volumes are expected to increase by at least 50 percent due to European crop failure. The beautiful autumn time has matured a fantastic quality vintage, some of the early varieties are already in bottles, including the special flavored Irsai Olivér.
