US economy grew faster than expected
The annual growth rate of the US economy accelerated in the third quarter of this year from the second quarter, expanding at a faster pace than the first estimate released at the end of October.
The Department of Commerce’s statistical institute announced on Wednesday that the annual growth rate of US gross domestic product (GDP) was 2.1 percent in the third quarter of this year, which ended at the end of September. (MTI)
