The lower-than-expected trade surplus refers to the revival of consumption
The revival of the domestic demand suggests that the rade surplus in April became lower-than-expected – analysts told MTI.
The Central Statistics Office (KSH) published its first estimate on Friday. On the basis of the estimate, the export value in euros increased by 3.1 percent, while the value of imports in euros increased by 4.2 percent in April, and therefore, the trade surplus decreased by 47 million euros to 625 million euros (192 billion HUF) compared to the same month of 2013.
