Lower-than-expected revenue may flow into the budget from the public health product fee
Probably one–two billion HUF less revenue will flow into the budget from the public health product fee –Világgazdaság wrote on Monday.
According to the newspaper the companies would need to pay 20 billion HUF this year, but on the basis of the datas of the National Tax and Customs Office, revenue will be lower.
There are nine types of products within the scope of the tax, but a new bill would extend the product fee to the new types of energy drinks tax as well. The proposal would involve more materials to the circle, but to compensate this, they would decrease in the rate of tax on energy drinks. (vallalkozoinegyed.hu)
