Employment in the United States grew in October more significantly than expected
According to the Institute for Human Resource Management, Payroll Management and Taxation Services (Automatic Data Processing / ADP), the number of people employed in the non-agricultural sectors of the private sector increased by 517 thousand last month.
Market analysts expected more modest growth of 400,000 by October.
The 568,000 increase reported for September was corrected downward to 523,000 by ADP after the review. (MTI)
