Retail sales in the United States grew faster than expected in October
Retail and hospitality sales in the United States grew faster than expected in October. It seems that the Christmas season has already started, many people have started shopping so as not to be surprised by the tight supply conditions.
The U.S. Department of Commerce said on Tuesday that seasonally and calendar-adjusted retail sales and hospitality increased by 638.2 billion USD in October, up 1.7 percent from September. Analysts expected a 1.2 percent increase after a 0.8 percent increase from the previous month. (MTI)
