Compared to the previous financial year, Tetra Pak increased its sales revenue by 1.2 percent to 8.95 billion euros (about 2.416 billion) in 2009.
In 2009, Tetra Pak produced 145 billion pieces of cardboard liquor boxes, which is a record. The Tetra Pak plant in Budaörs contributed by nearly 3.3 billion pieces. The world leader food and beverage companies marketed approximately 70.7 billion liters of food, especially milk and fruit juice, in the packages of the company.
