Wild meat can be healthier, more ecologically favorable and now even more economical
The Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK), the Étrend Association of Hungarian Chefs, the Southern Great Plain Gastronomy and Tourism Association and the Miskolc and Térsége Tourism Public Association will launch a campaign to boost traffic and popularize wild meat.

Wild meat is getting more popular
The aim of the campaign is to encourage the consumption of game meat in addition to boosting traffic. The program can be taken by any unit operating in the hospitality industry, which undertakes to offer game holidays in the period from November 18 to November 27, 2022. Joining and participation will be promoted on social media. Those interested can follow the restaurants participating in the campaign on social media by searching for the hashtag #vadateszem.
“According to last year’s consumption data, poultry meat rose in price by 50-60% in one year, pork rose by 60-70%, so the relatively lower price of game meat is now a serious price advantage for restaurants that also offer game”
– said Ákos Csókay, Secretary General of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
