In the TOP 3, Gundel’s short film at the Santa Barbara Film Festival – Video of the day

Gundel Restaurant’s film presenting sign language communication took second place at one of the world’s most prestigious short film festivals. The 3 Minute Film Festival in Santa Barbara celebrates the creativity and message of three-minute works and is widely recognized among filmmakers.

This year, in the “Narrative” category, 12 films from 5 countries (England, India, United States, Hungary, Turkey) were shortlisted, i.e. in the competition program, where Hungary was represented by the Gundel film. It is a huge success that the short film “Gundel Mindinkeé” missed the final festival victory by a hair.

Thanks to the crew of the acclaimed film director Péter Bergendy, the Gundel film, presented in March this year, not only focuses on the most famous Hungarian restaurant’s commitment to CSR, but also conveys a profound message about the importance of inclusivity.
