Fans can taste the favorite of TheVR Mekis at McDonald’s in Hungary
From October 11, the favorite Mekis menu of TheVR, one of the country’s if not the most popular content producers, will be brought to the Hungarian McDonald’s. The Mekis favorite of the dominant players in the Hungarian gamer and influencer world is a really powerful combo that will not leave fans hungry even during a long gaming session.
“As many Mekis, as many favorites.” The Super Bowl spot of the restaurant chain Famous Order in the United States started with this basic idea in 2020. Buoyed by the success of the commercial, McDonald’s took the idea a step further and allowed fans to order famous people’s favorite Mekis menu. Among the domestic celebrities, Dominik Mekis Szoboszlai was chosen for the first time in the summer of 2024.
Fans didn’t have to wait long for the next Mekis favorite either – from October, guests can taste the menu of a new duo, unsurpassed in their field, TheVR’s favorite Mekis.
“Anyone can have a favorite Mekis. Among them are two authentic and wholehearted ‘guys from next door’, like Pisti and Jani, who have gained huge popularity in recent years by building a real online media empire from YouTube videos. TheVR brand, following their hamburger tasting videos, also fits well with Meki, so when we thought about the campaign, it was almost a matter of course to collaborate with the boys.”
– said Dávid Aniot, head of the department responsible for brand strategy.
