The Coca-Cola Foundation works with WWF for a sustainable future
WWF – worldwide and in Hungary – works, among other things, to protect rivers and wetlands. From the source of the Danube to the delta, concrete steps are taken in cooperation with the people living along the river to restore the naturalness of the Danube, creating new opportunities for sustainable agriculture and ecotourism.
This work is supported by the Living Danube program, a unique cross-sector partnership that focuses on the conservation and restoration of Danube wetlands with the cooperation of WWF CEE, The Coca-Cola Foundation and the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube (ICPDR). In the coming period, The Coca-Cola Foundation will cooperate with the organization in another WWF project, the aim of which is to create specific water conservation areas on the Hungarian Sand Ridge.
