Tesco wins the “OMÉK Food Waste Prevention Award”
Tesco has earned the “OMÉK Food Waste Prevention Award” at the National Agricultural and Food Exhibition and Fair (OMÉK) for its inventory and handling practices. As a result of its actions, in just two years, the company was able to reduce its food surplus by 3,000 tonnes.
Tesco serves an average of 3 million customers a week in its 204 stores in Hungary.
