TESCO partners with Cortefiel to launch in Czech Republic
Tesco has partnered with Spanish fashion label Cortefiel to launch its brand in the Czech Republic.
Just-Style reported that Cortifiel will
open three concessions in Tesco’s MY department store chain which
is set to open in September. The agreement will mark Cortifiel
banners Women’s Secret and Cortefiel’s entry in the Czech
Republic. The retailer already operates a Springfield men’s chain
store in Prague. According to a Cortefiel spokesperson, the retailer
will consider expanding into other countries alongside Tesco. As part
of the multi-franchise agreement, Tesco will buy the Cortefiel
clothes to sell in the concessions operated by Tesco staff.
