Tesco is the first strategic corporate partner of Biatorbágyi Innovative Technikum és Gimnázium
From 2023, the department store chain will contribute HUF 10 million per year to the implementation of innovative education at the institution for four years, as well as provide professional training, internships and a mentoring program for the school’s logistics students.
As the first strategic partner, Tesco joins the Biatorbágy Innovative Technical High School and High School (BIT) established by the Ecumenical Aid Organization for Education Foundation. As part of the collaboration, their specialists participate in the students’ theoretical and practical training, and offer a mentoring program for the most talented students. The company thus greatly contributes to the foundation of students’ marketable knowledge.
Their first joint professional event took place on April 14, at which Tesco’s leading corporate professionals guided the students participating in the school’s technical training at the department store chain’s Budaörs headquarters. During the program, the students gained an insight into the inner workings of the large company, and learned about the daily work of individual departments of the department store chain (logistics, procurement, HR, marketing, sales). The professional day was enriched by presentations, workshops and playful tasks.
