In the world, one and a half billion jobs and the existence of the three-quarters of the crop depends on pollination by animals, so if we do not stop the loss of bees and the number of butterflies, that will be a huge risks to the human kind – the scientists of the University of Reading warned on Monday in their Communiqué.
The experts took part in a global survey which found that pollinating animals are directly responsible for the development of three-quarters of the important crop types. Crops such as fruits, grains and nuts, coffee and cocoa as well. (MTI)
