The excess demand in the television market also affects Atmedia
Atmedia prepared several scenarios for 2023. Thanks to this, as well as the implemented price level increase and the stable viewership of the portfolio, it can manage the excess demand on an annual basis.
At the same time, Atmedia also confirms that in such an overdemand situation, a significantly higher price increase than the previous one, corresponding to the level of overdemand, is necessary for the year 2024, as this has already been announced in neighboring countries. This step is necessary both for transport security and for maintaining the quality of content production.
In addition, on the part of advertisers and media agencies, accurate annual commitments, including the planned seasonality of spending, should become a practice – in order to more accurately determine the expected demand, as well as timely campaign cancellations, as this could help inventory planning and management.
