Dairy products drove food prices up
In February the FAO food price index rose by 1.7 percent to reach 167.5 points. The index hasn’t been this high since August 2018, but it is still 2.3 percent lower than it was in February 2018. It is noteworthy that in comparison with January 2018, the price index of dairy products elevated by almost 6 percent. One of the reasons for this increase was the decline in butter production. //
