The Milk Interprofessional Organization and Product Council has recently conducted a wide-ranging survey of dairy production and processing delegates in order to obtain a more accurate, quantified picture of the significant increase in costs for dairy operators on an annual basis.

Based on the survey, comparing the annual changes of feed, livestock, machinery, equipment and technology costs, basic, auxiliary and additive, packaging material, wages, energy and building costs, rents, hygiene costs, we can report a continuous increase in production costs, which means an average increase of 15-18% in production costs for dairy farmers and processors in one year.
