Technical break does not mean the changing of opening hours
The Supreme Court pointed out, that the break of the opening hours are not considered to be an opening hours change, therefore it does not require a separate notification.
The applicant of the case wanted to give up an official, forward mail at a post office in a non-stop supermarket, operating 0-24, but the store's entrance sign indicated that, due to technical reasons – the conversion of cash – was closed.
The Supreme Court stated that the trader disposes with the operating hours and shall notify the competent notary, but the closure of the business, due to technical reason for a few hours is not considered as a change of opening hours – reports Világgazdaság Online.
