The main sugar beet growing areas are in Southern Transdanubia (39.6 percent), Western Transdanubia (19.6 percent), Central Transdanubia (17.5 percent) and the Southern Great Plain (15.4 percent). away.

The total planned sowing area of ​​watermelons and pumpkin grafted melons is 2.9 thousand hectares, which is mainly concentrated in the counties of Békés and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. According to reports, 91.6 percent of sowing was completed by mid-May.
