According to Vendégh Edit, winter wheat has been harvested on 28,342 hectares so far, with an average of 6.61 tons per hectare; In 2021, 6.14 tons per hectare was produced. Poorer results were achieved in the areas with lower productivity, drought and frostbite on May 25, in the eastern and southern parts of the county. Most of the crop is of good quality, with an average protein content of 14-15 percent and a grain content of 30-32 percent, which corresponds to edible wheat. (MTI)
