During this spring’s seasonal food safety inspection, Nébih found more errors than last year
Compared to last year, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) imposed more penalties and recalled more products during its traditional spring seasonal food safety inspection, the Secretary of State for Food Industry and Trade Policy of the Ministry of Agriculture told M1.
Speaking about the partial results of the inspection until the end of the season, Márton Nobilis said that in the first phase of the campaign, inspections were carried out in 1,117 places, of which 688 were in trade, mostly in shops and markets.
The numbers have become a little worse than before, this is probably due to the behavior of traders, with which they try to make up for the lost profits due to the drop in consumption, explained the state secretary.
