Confectionery manufacturers are expecting more traffic than last year
Last year’s decline in confectionery consumption has gradually recovered over the past year, with manufacturers expecting higher turnover this year, compared to the previous Easter.
The Association of Hungarian Confectionery Manufacturers (Hunbisco) wrote to the MTI question that the turnover of seasonal Easter sweets had reached up to a thousand tons in previous years. Experience has shown that with a share of around 40 percent, chocolate rabbit is the most popular. The chocolate eggs barely lag behind this, while the remaining portion is made up of hollow chocolates patterned from animal figures. (MTI)
