Melon producing season has started better than in 2015
The purchase price paid for the Hungarian melon is high since Monday. The season started well for the growers.
Grósz György, Melon Sales Manager of the Medi-Fruct Termelői Értékesítői Szövetkezet (Medi-Fruct Producer and Sales Cooperative) told MTI that the Hungarian watermelon is available on the domestic market since Monday. The 55-60 HUF per kilo price is 10-12 percent higher last year. (MTI)
