The poultry meat may become more expensive due to feedstuff price increase

After this spring’s 5-8 percent price increase a further 5-10 percent increase will come. Her-Csi-Meat Ltd., has to increase its prices if the feedstuff prices remains high in the cereals market – said Oláh István, Executive Director.

According to Oláh István, feedstuff prices dramatically increased already. The Her-Csi-Meat Ltd’s feedstuff supplier implemented a 6.5 percent price increase in July, their other parent pair suppliers partner had to accept a 13 percent price increase.
