Vine pruning at full swing
Vine pruning starts later in milder weather in the small gardens, but at the larger vineyard parcels work was going on during the whole winter. With the exception of harder frosts, farmers worked steadily in recent weeks.
So far, the winter has been kind to the grapes, but still no one dares to predict the quantity and quality of this year's crop, but the winemakers can be satisfied,because last year’s about three million hectoliters yield is giving them enough work. (by our colleague)
