More than half of Slovenians would vacation in Croatia this year
71 percent of Slovenians are planning a vacation this year, and more than half of respondents would go to Croatia, according to the results of a survey by the Mediana public opinion poll published on Sunday.
According to the poll, Slovenia is the second most popular destination for Slovenians, followed by Greece and Italy, but more would travel to Montenegro, Albania, Spain, Turkey, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A fifth of respondents have already paid for their vacation, more than a quarter have already chosen a destination but have not yet paid, and another quarter have not yet decided whether they will travel. 29 percent of those surveyed said they are not planning a vacation this year. A third of respondents are planning a 4-7-day vacation, while a quarter would stay abroad for more than ten days.
The survey was conducted by Mediana between June 16 and 19, based on online inquiries, with the participation of 580 adults.
