Monks are fighting with online reservations against resellers
The Belgian monks have chosen a specific way to reach that only individuals could buy their highly sought after beer and to filter out those resellers who sell the special wheat to other dealers – origo wrote after BBC.
The Westvleteren, Saint Sixtus Abbey in Belgium, is one of the 14 locations in the world that has been officially certified to produce beer based on the original tradition of trappist monks. Customers can buy a crate of drink 45 euros (about 14 thousand forints), so a bottle approximately costs 600 forints. (origo)
