The Századvég Economic Research of the End of the Century revised its growth forecast upwards
In its latest forecast, the Századvég Economic Research has revised its expectations for economic growth upwards this year: it forecasts 7.8 percent GDP growth this year and 5.5 percent by 2022.
In its quarterly macroeconomic forecast sent to MTI on Wednesday, the research institute recalls that the second quarter was characterized by higher-than-expected economic growth of 17.9 percent and quarter-on-quarter growth of 2.7 percent, so the Hungarian economy outperformed pre-crisis levels.
