The Századvég has upgraded the growth expectations for this year and for the next year
The Századvég Gazdaságkutató Zrt. has upgraded its growth forecasts for 2018 and 2019. For 2018 instead of the previous 4.4 percent, 4.6 percent is forecasted, while for 2019, 3.9 percent is forecasted instead of the previous 3.5 percent.
According to the economic research analyst’s report sent to MTI on Tuesday, the economic performance in the third quarter of 2018 was 4.9, according to the raw data. According to the seasonally adjusted and calendar-adjusted data, the growth was 5.2 percent, exceeding analysts’ expectations by more than half a percentage point. (MTI)
