MVI calls for a preferential treatment for the trade
The Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) is proposing to cap energy prices in the hospitality sector.

In the second half of June, MVI welcomed the government decree on introducing a price ceiling for electricity in accommodation establishments, but the guild also called for the hospitality sector to be included in the list of beneficiaries. According to the decree, between 1 July and 31 December 2023, accommodation service providers can pay a reduced price for electricity, maximum net EUR 200/MWh. //
