The Kispipa Restaurant opens again with the Szakcsi-Sziámi duo
The haunt of Seress Rezső composer of the world famous “Sad Sunday” song opens again. At the opening on 25 October, the duo of Szakcsi Lakatos Béla and Müller Péter Sziámi will evoke the spirit of Seress Rezső.
The Kispipa, in which Rezső Seress played piano between 1958 and 1968, was closed for some time and now opens again in the heart of Erzsébetváros, under Akácfa Street 38, after several failed revival attempts. For the first time in the musical events that are scheduled to take place, the spirit and songs of Seress Rezső will be performed by Szakcsi Lakatos Béla, one of the finest Hungarian jazz pianists and Müller Sziámi Péter, the singing poet – the organizers told MTI.
