Starbucks sells these meatless meats in China
Starbucks begins marketing Beyond Meat products in China, according to CNBC. The American coffee chain is putting meat substitutes on its menu in the world’s second largest economy as part of a new sustainability project.
Starbucks is putting Beyond Meat on its Chinese menu as an alternative to three beefs, but the global coffee chain’s project doesn’t stop there. Two types of pork alternatives from Hong Kong’s Omnipork will also appear, and the company will begin selling Oatly oatmeal products to Chinese consumers. (origo)
