SPAR Ireland supplier buys biogas-fuelled delivery vehicles
BWG Foods – a supplier of SPAR in Ireland – has introduced two biogas-powered delivery vehicles to its fleet. This step aims to increase the use of biogas in the company’s increasingly environmentally friendly fuel mix. The two biogas-fuelled trucks are expected to cut carbon emissions of the business by approximately 200 tons a year.
