NKFH: Spar has recalled 100 gram sliced smoked Norwegian Salmon fillets from the market
Spar Hungary Trading Ltd. has recalled 100-gram sliced smoked Norwegian Salmon fillets from circulation due to microbiological non-compliance – the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority announced to MTI on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, during an official inspection, the test revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in the product. The quality preservation period of the affected 100 gram sliced smoked Norwegian Salmon Fillet is November 11, 2025, and its lot identifier is LOT20112025.
Spar Hungary Trading Ltd., in cooperation with the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority, immediately took the necessary measures, ensuring that the affected items were withdrawn from circulation and recalled from consumers. The authority is monitoring the company’s actions and the further fate of the recalled products – destruction or removal – it was written in the announcement.
In its announcement, the authority asks that if anyone has purchased products with the above batch identifier and still has the product, they should not consume it.
